Join us for a film and fellowship on the incredible life and legacy of Black lesbian activist, Ruth Ellis.
We will be screening the documentary "Living with Pride: Ruth Ellis @ 100" followed by a discussion featuring the filmmaker Dr. Yvonne Welbon of Sisters in Cinema and Dr. Kofi Adoma, founder of the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit.
This event open to everyone and is presented by Trailblazers, Affinity's peer-lead group centering Black LGBTQ women and trans/nonbinary people age 60+.
